Manufactured Stone

With the adhesives in the stone it does give it an enhanced strength. It is also highly Scratch resistant.

PLEASE NOTE: Anything that is harder than the Quartz can scratch the surface. For example other stone platters or stone pieces need to be carefully placed and moved on the stone.

The major concern of a Quartz surface counter top is that it is NOT heat resistant. Quartz CAN be damaged by excessive heat placement.

No maintenance is one of its highly sought after attributes of Manufactured stone. Since it is a man-made stone it does not need to be Sealed. It is highly STAIN resistant. Strong Chemical cleaners, like bleach, can etch the Quartz surface. Please refrain from any chemical cleaners, unless recommended.

PLEASE NOTE: The Darker Quartz, like black, has been known to show watermarks and/or minor stains as a result of surface blemishes. All slabs have minor flaws and the black color is very susceptible in increasing any visible problems.

Quartz should be daily cleaned with Soap&Water avoiding ANY strong Chemicals. NO Bleach, Magic erasers etc. One recommended cleaner which is safe for most Quartz surfaces is VIM (non-bleach).

PLEASE NOTE: We have also experienced in the past that the Quartz surface seems to easily build up oils or hard watermarks, which make it appear like stains. The solution is to vigorously clean the Surface with hot water and soap, and buffing it out with a fiber cloth.
